Research
The practice occasionally participates in research projects being carried out
in the Nottinghamshire area. We are informed of research projects available by
the Primary Care Research Network. All projects are fully approved by the Local
Research Ethics Committee.
If our database identifies you as a suitable candidate for the study, we will
write to you to invite you to take part. Full information will be provided. We
never give your details to anyone outside of the practice without your consent.
All invitation letters are sent by the practice. Should you wish to take part,
then further contact is usually with the researchers. Taking part in studies can
be beneficial and rewarding. It does not however affect your care at this
practice.
You have no obligation to take part in any of the studies that you are invited
to.
