Call the surgery number (01623 513147). You will be re-directed to CNCS and you will be triaged by a nurse specialist or a GP. Some things may be dealt with on the telephone. When can I use this service?

Outside of normal surgery opening hours ie:

Monday – Friday 6.30pm – 8.00am
Saturday & Sunday All day (until 8.00am on Monday)
Bank Holidays All day


What can I use the service for?

This service is intended for problems which cannot wait until the surgery is next open.

How can I arrange to be seen by CNCS?

Call the surgery number (01623 513147). You will be re-directed to CNCS and you will be triaged by a nurse specialist or a GP. Some things may be dealt with on the telephone. If you need to be seen, you will be given an appointment to be seen at the centre in Byron House, Sutton in Ashfield.

If you are deemed to need a home visit, a GP will come out to see you.

We will be informed the following day of your contact with CNCS and any treatment provided.

Your local pharmacy can also offer you advice, and treatment if required for a range of minor ailments.

Under the Pharmacy First scheme if you are exempt from prescription charges you will be able to get the same medicines the GP would have prescribed free of charge for head lice, temperature/fever, sore throat, earache, teething pain and pain relief for toothache.
